$100 Room Challenge, Week 4: Powder Room Reveal

**This post may contain affiliate links, please read my full disclosure here.**

Today I am super excited because I finally get to show you what I have been working on for the past month! If you are just joining in, I have been participating in the $100 Room Challenge hosted by Erin over at Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry. If you are unfamiliar with this challenge, it is where one room is upgraded/refreshed in one month for $100 or less.

The space that I decided to tackle was my powder room. It was really plane and boring before this challenge so one of my main goals was to spruce it up with some color!

This is how my powder room used to look like:

And this is what the powder room looks like now:

I decided to go really dark with the wall color to help bring in some interest and drama to the room. I love how the navy blue walls now pop against the white molding.

The light fixture was in desperate need of being replaced or DIY'd so after searching and searching online for options that would fit the budget, I decided to use some of the copper spray paint I had leftover from a previous project and give the light fixture a little makeover. I am super happy how it turned out and love how the copper looks against the navy walls. That little project came in a whopping zero dollars!

The mirror above the sink and the waste basket also got a little makeover as well with the help of a glue gun and some rope. They bring in a nice nautical touch to the space and look lovely against the navy blue walls.

In order to bring in more copper accents to the room, I decided to spray paint this garden stool that was previously lime green and the brackets from the shelves copper as well. It was super easy changes that helped bring the room together.

I had some shelves that had been sitting in my closet waiting for the right space and I think right above the toilet made perfect sense. It helps bring in some nice decor pieces that I shopped my home to bring in some style to the room.

I finished off the room a gallery wall that took a little longer than I had anticipated because I couldn't make up my mind on the prints I wanted to use. I finally decided on these and printed them off at home. Be on the lookout for a future post where I share where I got all these prints for FREE.

And that's the completed powder room! I so super happy that this room is complete and absolutely loved doing this challenge. So much so that I have decided to join Erin again next month for another round of the $100 Room Challenge

WooHoo! Under budget! I was super lucky that I was able to find most of my accessories by shopping my own home. If you have been following me for a while, you know that shopping my home is the absolute first thing I do when styling a room. I spent most of my money on the paint and DIYing the bigger pieces in the room. Money well spent in my book!
