Father's Day Tablescape

With Father's Day right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share with you a cute yet simple Father's Day tablescape. My inspiration came from my hubby as I wanted to create something that I knew he would enjoy, using with some of his favorite things! I only used items that we already owned and didn't spend a dime! My favorite way to decorate!

I have been on a closet cleaning frenzy lately and having recently organized the entryway closet, I found some of my old scarfs from my days when I lived in Ohio. I don't really tend to use them as much here in Florida, so they had kind of disappeared in the closet. As I began pulling them out, I began to rack my brain in ways that I could use them as I couldn't bring myself to part with them. One of my ideas was to use them as runners. Hence this beautiful blueish gray scarf on the table.

I used my usual blue Better Homes and Garden plates from Walmart that I love. They are so sturdy and almost look like they are hand painted. I then layered these fun Hawaiian shirt plates that I received as a gift. To finish it off, I then took some white paper napkins and tied them into a shape of a bow tie. Simple and cute!

For the centerpiece, I wanted to keep it very simple and masculine, so I decided to stay away from flowers. I scoured my husband's things for something that I could use. When I walked into out home office and saw this yellow car sitting on our office shelves I just knew this would work perfectly. I love how the yellow pops against the blue of the scarf. I then added some antique books as my hubby is an avid reader.

I added a little drink area to serve some of my hubby's favorite drinks.

And that's it! Super cute and simple Father's Day table decor. I hope that you guys enjoyed this post. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
