$100 Room Challenge: Closet Office Reveal
It's finally here! It's week five of the $100 Room Challenge and I finally get to show you the space that I've been tackling the whole month of January.

Now that you are all caught up, let's get back to the reveal! I'm so super excited to be showing you this space because I honestly can't believe it's done. I drew up so many plans and had so many different ideas that I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to accomplish it all within budget. With the help of my wonderful dad, a.k.a my carpenter, we were able to turn my plans into reality.

The side shelves on the closet are absolutely perfect to hold all my favorite crafting accessories! I have a dedicated space for my printer, Cricut and all my crafting supplies at my fingertips.
I was even able to add a fourth shelf at the bottom left of the desk. I decided to paint it the same color as the wall, " " by Behr to make sure it blended into the wall. It's the perfect space to store my sewing machine and all the accessories that come with it.
Now let's talk about the wallpaper! I got this wallpaper early last year on clearance at Home Goods and I've been looking for the perfect place to use it. I decided to use it as an accent behind the computer screen. I really wanted to do the entire back wall but unfortunately one roll wasn't enough. So I decided to just use above the desk area. Not too bad right?!
I also used the wallpaper as a way to cover the rough ends of the side shelves. Since I wasn't able to use the wallpaper along the entire space, this was a nice way to incorporate more of the pretty wall paper in the closet.
For even more storage, I took the wheels off my Ikea Raskog cart and it's the perfect size to fit on the right side of my desk. When I don't need it, it's completely out of view and it just slides completely underneath the desk.
All of the accessories used are from different areas of my home that I've relocate here. Like these storage boxes that used to live in my husband's office but store all my crafting supplies now have a proper home.
I even took this old Ikea napkin holder from the kitchen in order to help keep my laptop out of sight behind the monitor but also easily accessible!
The rest of the shelves I decorated with some of my favorite home decor books and faux succulent accessories. As much a I wanted a real plant, I didn't want to risk my little one getting in the dirt. He's very into climbing right now and I really don't feel like walking into a dirt surprise situation.
So this little space gave me a bunch of storage but also a lovely place to sit down and work on my little passion project here, my blog. I love that I have a little place of my own and feel that I can be super productive whenever the mood should strike.

WOW! If you would have asked me in the beginning on this challenge if I thought I was going to come in under budget, I would have laughed and said I was pretty sure I would be coming it right at $100 or a little above. I knew most of my budget would go towards the wood, but what really saved my budget was using the sheet of plywood in it's entirety to complete the whole space.
